Our STERLING PACKAGE will handle everything you need to professionally release your product. It includes all your essential needs from, distribution, Radio Plugging and promos, P.R and Realtones to Television advertising, Barcodes, ISRC codes and Chart registration. We also include in house marketing and advertising to our own Radio and online audience. 

Below is a breakdown of the services included in this package:

All Sterling package releases will automatically get a Matchbox Recordings catalogue number and be released as an official Matchbox Recordings label release. If you are already a label we can work with your label name, cat no, barcodes, isrc codes etc please let us know.

Your music will be distributed in the form of Matchbox Radio plugging promos to regional and National U.K and worldwide Radio stations including online stations. This includes all key BBC producers and shows including Radio 1, Radio 2 and Independent network stations. We have many different genre contacts and databases and will direct your product at the suitable producers for your genre. This is followed up with telephone calls, emails and in some cases face to face meetings. The goal is to achieve the highest amount of airplay/feedback on your release as possible and relay this info back to you.

Your music will be distributed to numerous music press publications in the U.K and worldwide for review. After many years of promoting music to the press and music websites we have built up good relationships with many journalists. We will put together the most effective press release/stickers to suit your campaign and distribute this to the press with copies of your CD. This is followed up with telephone calls, emails and in some cases face to face meetings. The goal is to achieve the highest amount of printed and online reviews, features and mentions and relay this info back to you.

We will set up a mobile phone shortcode for your lead track. The code ( eg: ARTIST to 81149 ) will enable fans to order a realtone of your song.  Real tones will be delivered instantly to the customer’s mobile phone. Realtones normally cost £3 and you will be paid 50% of sales.

We will generate ISRC codes for your songs and they will automatically be registered by us via PPL and The Official UK Charts company and will become eligible for charting on the Official U.K Chart.

You will be featured on our website ( 6.5 million visitors per annum and rising ) with your own artist page including an interview, audio samples, photos, biography and retail buy links. We will feature your songs on Matchbox Radio 24 (280,000+ listeners and rising) and your lead tracks will also go into our Interactive chart where listeners worldwide can vote for the songs. We will also record an audio Radio advert for your release and get you to record station ident’s/messages that will be played before your songs everyday to further promote your CD to our listeners.

We will produce a broadcast quality television advert for your release including the audio and voice over. Your commercial will then be approved legally for broadcast through Clearcast and delivered in a digital format to be aired during peak time on channels like  MTV One, MTV UK, MTV Hits, MTV Dance, MTV Base, MTV R, VH1 UK , VH1, TMF, VH1 Classic, Viva, Smash Hits, Kiss, Box, Magic, Q, Kerrang TV, Chart Show, NME TV and more. The basic Sterling package includes production, clearance, delivery and your advert aired 5 times on the show/slots of your choice. ( The digital delivery, editing and delivery for clearance of this part of the service is carried out kindly by our sister company Matchbox Digital.

 We work very far in advance (2-4 months at least is advised) and need to book the network and secure a release date for your project. Due to this we require full payment upfront for all package options. 

A Sterling package is not something that happens instantly it takes a lot of working together, effort and time to fulfil. There are many things to do and the better we work together the more chance of success we will all have.  There is no end date on our agreements because we know success doesn’t come overnight. Our aim is to build a strong long term relationship with our clients that will lead to a high sales and exposure return over time.

CD MANUFACTURING

If you have a strong enough sales, airplay, TV and exposure note/record and feel CD buyers at major chains like HMV, Tesco will order your CD in a physical format, you can order glass Mastered CD’s from our sister company Matchbox Digital. They can press professionally manufacture CD albums, singles or E.P’s from glass master in all formats.
