Matchbox Recordings
specialises in writing and distributing press releases and promoting new
release singles and albums to national and regional press, review sites and
music publications.
Since our inception in 1997 have
worked with many Independent artists, labels and Managers. We strive to provide
the best promotion for every client we are involved with. Our goal is to create
awareness of new artists and their product to potential record buyers.
We realise how important your
releases are to you so we offer a personal service and treat each release and
client as top priority. We make sure we communicate with you in a fast and
informative way and aim to build a good long term relationship.
HOW DOES IT WORK ?
After many years of promoting
music to the press and music websites we have built up good relationships with
various journalists. We will put together the mist effective press release to
suit your campaign and distribute this to the press with sample copies of your
release.
This is followed up with
telephone calls, emails and in some cases face to face meetings. The goal is to
achieve the highest amount of printed and online reviews, features and mentions
and relay this info back to you.
DO YOU PLUG ALL
SUBMITTED RELEASES ?
It's no use sending rubbish to
the press so the frank answer to that is NO. We must be 100% behind our
artists and have to be naturally enthusiastic when talking to our contacts so all
promotions are subject to our review.
HOW DO WE GET GOING AND COST ?
The cost of our press and media
campaigns start at approx £750 per release depending on the extent and length
