Matchbox Recordings specialises in distributing press releases and promoting new release singles and albums to national and regional press, online review sites and music publications. Since our inception in 1997 have worked with many Independent artists, labels and Managers. We strive to provide the best promotion for every client we are involved with. Our goal is to create awareness of new artists and their product to potential record buyers.

We realise how important your releases are to you so we offer a personal service and treat each release and client as top priority. We make sure we communicate with you in a fast and informative way and aim to build a good long term relationship.

HOW DOES IT WORK ?

After many years of promoting music to the press and music websites we have built up good relationships with various journalists and editors. We will put together the most effective press release to suit your campaign and distribute this to the press with sample copies of your release.

This is followed up with telephone calls, emails and in some cases face to face meetings. The goal is to achieve the highest amount of printed and online reviews, features and mentions and relay this info back to you. Feedback and reviews are delivered back to you on a weekly basis including editor/journalist feedback, comments, logos, links to and scans of your reviews and more.
