Opening this great new music
album we have the very classy ELEVATOR DIVISION from Kansas City
( USA).
This band are one of the most melodic bands to penetrate the world of
Indie guitar music for a long time. They consist of Paul Buzan, Jeremiah
Gonzales, James Hoskins and Samuel Hoskins. The Division license the stunning
song "Blood brothers". This epic and classic song starts off
with mellow and dreamy Pavement/Radiohead-esq shimmering guitars and dreamy and
inspiring vocals. The track builds into a wall of screeching guitars ,
lovely chord progressions, rhythmic drums and wailing vocals from
heaven. Elevator Division show a different side to the current explosion
of music from the US and end the reign of bands like Blink 182 by
showing us that melody and feeling means more than bands jumping up and
down playing the same old tune with a stop in it somewhere( wave goodbye
Blink), the Division are here to conquer. Beautiful is the only
word to describe this great song from America's finest new heroes of
melodic guitar music. Pure class from these illusive stars pictured
below walking away from the spotlight in Kansas City. Who needs to
see their faces when their music is so powerful and touching. Check out www.the-elevator-division.com

Crossing the Atlantic new
melodic guitar band BULLDOG follow in style with the song
"That song you're singing". This great new UK band show us
that classic music is here to stay. Expect chorused up acoustic guitars,
dreamy keyboard sounds ala Duran's Rio mixed with a boppy feel and
Starsailor/Bowie-esq vocals that build up to the chorus. This chorus is
euphoric and sticks in your head while the music conjures up thoughts of
exotic locations, romance and rock n' roll excess. Bulldog are one of
the best new proper bands around at the moment and prove that songs are
what matters in a world of horrible Pop Idol's and Karaoke stars.
"The Candlelight is burning low, It's time for me to blow"
shouts the lead vocalist on the chorus with whispery backing vocals in
the background in amongst walls of well produced emotional beauty. This
is brilliant and will ensure Bulldog rise to become the stars they
deserve to be.

Great new classic Indie band SOUND
OF LONDON license the song "Hard to get" to Centre
Stage. This brilliant and catchy song starts off with acoustic guitars
and vocals only, showcasing the bands ability to write an infectious and
very memorable melody. The rest of the band join in slowly with style
building up slowly to a sexy and groovy beat with loads of shimering wah
wah induced guitars and that very catchy vocal hook again. "Can I
expect a call, She said it's possible". I am sure every male on the
planet has been there. This song is traditional and full of old fashioned
wah wah lead solo's and a very efficient rhythm section. Uplifting well
produced Police-esq pop rock with passion and loads of build in hit
potential.
Great new Indie rock band WADE
from Grangemouth UK license the powerful and melodic rock tune "
Innercity". This Groovy and classic rock influenced track boasts a
catchy melody and is delivered with power and passion in a retro but
modern style. The vocals are powerful and are doubled up on the chorus
to create a sing a long feel worthy of Guns n' Roses or an early melodic
Manics. Great new music at it's best.

Changing the mood slightly we
have the amazing and ahead of their time EDISON. This stunning
new band deliver the song " Music without you". The drums
stand out on this tune with a big beat sound bashing out many
different rhythms to create a lo-fi leftfield Indie anthem. The sharp
and well delivered vocals are slightly distorted to create a loudspeaker
effect and an atmosphere of decadence and rock n' roll. "Music is
the music without you, I hope the fire in my soul doesn't burn
you". This song should be blasting it's way out of the
speakers of every Indie club in the country and is a definite Indie
dancefloor classic. Great new stuff from EDISON.
Nottingham's very own THE
SOUND are a new Indie guitar band with a difference. They really
care about melody, emotions and well produced classic Indie pop music.
They license the song " Please let me know" to Centre Stage.
The song starts off with a sexy Indie stomp and leads into a chugging
and powerful wall of guitar noise. The very smooth and beautiful vocals
are an echo of Mark M from the Bluetones and James Dean B from the
Manics. This song stays in your head after the first few listens and the
chorus gets repeated all the way through the song until you never forget
it. "Tell me what can I do, to make it alright with you" plead
the emotional vocals.
Halfway through the song we get a very bluesy guitar section followed
again by the very catchy chorus. The Sound certainly have a sound worthy
of very big things and they will rise to where all good songsmiths
should be......the top.
The very wonderful and poppy SMOKED
OUT brighten things up with the great flowery Indie anthem "
Natural High". Think The Smiths mixed with The Frank and Walters,
Teardrop Explodes and a poppy Buzzcocks. A great blast of true english
guitar pop at it's best. Smoked Out are classic, poppy, catchy and make
you feel like jumping up and down and screaming out with joy , all of
course because you are having a natural high from the fast energetic and
inspiring pop sound they create. Brilliant and destined for scary
heights of success.
Staying in true English guitar
pop mode we move onto a very new and fast rising star IKE MORIZ
(originally from Cape Town/Germany) . This enigmatic solo artist
delivers the bright and poppy classic "Fall into the sun".
This song was recorded with Steve Kent who has in the past worked with
George Michael ( yes from Wham). This song is not Club Tropicana but a
very poppy and especially catchy song reminiscent of Ike's hero Bowie
and a bit like Suede vocally also. Saying that the main strength to this
song is the unstoppable and extremely catchy and warm chorus. This very
well produced song also comes packed with everything from a string
section on the chorus to dreamy shimmering guitars and falsetto Brett
Anderson could never have reached . It also boasts a very uplifting
feeling and once you've heard it once you will never forget it. Great
stuff from a solo artist proving it can be done your own way in style.
Brilliant.
