Opening this new music feast are mr E  a four-piece rock band from Southampton. They license the Radio friendly anthem " Something to say" to Airwaves with it's up tempo stadium feel and extremely melodic and anthemic sing-a long vocals. The band are Harun Kotch on lead vocals and guitar, John Roberts on drums, Chris Haines on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Ross Meecham on guitar and backing vocals. The band are Influenced by Feeder, Foo Fighters and Coldplay and describe their sound as hard-edged, guitar-driven pop-rock. mr E combine power pop tendencies with exceptional guitar work, a powerful driving rhythm section and catchy melodies that will never leave your head. Bursting onto the scene next we have the dynamite driven rock gods LM-24. This champion Hebburn band license the amazingly uplifting and raw anthemic rock monster " Get a Grip on her". This top sonic stomper chugs from start to finish with power and glory and the sing-a-long chorus sticks in your head like glue. It's uplifting and makes you want to jump up and down and play air guitar for the rest of your life. The band are : Chris Anderson ( Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Craig Clark (Bass Guitar), Joe Hawes (Lead/Rhythm Guitar) and Brian Hunter (Drums and Percussion). The LM's all have very different influences that combined together create a pop/rock frenzy that lives in a similar house to Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters and Nirvana. Very strong proper rock from a powerful, inventive and extremely tight classy outfit with driving bass, screeching guitars, mammoth drums and heaps of attitude and extreme coolness. Tyne and Wear should be proud and we are too. 

Dirty fuzzy blues drenched guitars, inventive busy rhythm sections and shouty bluesy anthemic vocals with heaps of attitude. If that's what your looking for then you have come to the right place. The place of DRINKER. This unique Sheffield rock band license the stunning decadent leftfield rock number "Soapbox" to Airwaves. The band also featured on our "Extravaganza" album with "Purple Hearts". Expect bluesy guitar riffs that are fuelled by speed and sonic fury. This is combined with vocals that follow the guitar riff in a decadent way bringing raw live energy to the listener. The drums crash and move like a speedy Ferrari while the bass drives us further into up tempo leftfield rock mayhem. Chaotic and catchy. Drinker are a real band who don't care about anything except giving the world good solid leftfield music. They have succeeded. 

 Following next we have the very cool and stylish JONNY AMOS.  This 24 year old who lives in South London delivers the Radio friendly anthem "Waterloo Girl". Jonny combines lovely sizzling synth bass sounds, groovy shimmering guitars and powerful emotional vocals with extremely sing-a-long melodies and lovely chord progressions. He says his style is best described as "retro-pop, fused with radio friendly rock". Waterloo Girl is a catchy, up tempo song with an emotional feel that touches the soul in a sing a long way. The production is incredible and bursts out of the speakers like a hit destined for number 1. Retro, groovy and cool as hell. Dreamily entering the Airwaves stage next we have Manchester's  hottest new rising stars. We bring to you the magnificent LISA BROWN with "Reverie".  No it's not a 1960's soul singer it's a new Indie guitar band that deliver timeless, dreamy landscapes of beauty, thoughtfulness and pure emotion. They remind us of Adorable crossed with The Field Mice, early Stone Roses on valium and Coldplay. They formed at the end of 2002 but had all been in bands with each other and others since they were 15. They were recently featured on the BBC Manchester website - "The atmospherics of Sigur Ros, the intense lyrical sentiment of Spiritualized and Coldplay's melodic charm". Lisa Brown also recently picked up two gongs in the Manchester Music websites 2003/04 awards. Best newcomer & Best band member for singer Nev. The guitars riff in a heavenly reverb drenched world while the inventive and very different rhythm section flows like a melodic river. Featuring next we have classy new melodic singer/songwriter BEN TAYLOR.  He licenses the classic acoustic based song " By the Light of Day". Ben from Middlesborough delivers perfect acoustic landscapes that are filled with emotion and flowing melody. This lovely jangly 60's esq pop track has a warm feeling with lovely flowing guitars and dreamy subliminal trumpets. Melody is the essence here and it flows from the vocals to the guitars to the trumpets. Think LOVE on a school trip with Donovan. Retro, melodic moving heartfelt pop from a raw talent that will stay around for a long time. Well crafted songs from a gifted songwriter. This will stand the test of time. 

Charming and psychedelic Manchester band THE JACKDAWS above   

THE JACKDAWS are a new classic Indie guitar band with a  psychedelic blues tinged sound. The hail from Manchester and consist of: Garry Floyd (Drums), Dean Lanza (Lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Mark Eyden (Lead guitar and vocals) and John Rigby (Bass guitar). They license the timeless 60's esq ballad "Dance a Little Harder" to Airwaves. This extremely stylish grower goes from flowing acoustic guitars and subliminal violins to bluesy lead guitars and stadium sized drums. This is a seriously groovy and mellow trip down retro territory but the Jackdaws also maintain their own distinctive sound. Good songwriters worthy of praise. Staying in melodic territory we move onto new stylish singer/songwriter LLOYD WILLIAMS. Lloyd is an Internet Architech's artist with class, style and classic songwriting tendencies. This exceptional, sentimental and emotional track " Turpentine" is acoustic based with lashings of chiming dreamy guitar leads, majestic strings and meandering piano. Epic is perhaps a word to describe Lloyd's music. Lloyd comes from Brighton, Sussex and released a few solo records before being picked up  by the Internet Architechs and us.  This track is off the stunning full length album "LUNA". Classic, heartfelt, emotional and honest brave music from a sensitive real artist. 

THE RIMESTONES are a brand new band from Estonia who license the lovely leftfield twee Indie pop track " Sweet Thing". This exceptional and different lo-fi Indie guitar song is packed full of dreamy sparkling guitar riffs that shimmer in the background as the vocals lament us in a Lawrence ( Felt ) crossed with Morrissey having tea with Ian Curtis sort of way. Yan the lead singer has a distinctive voice of his own though and is the Jarvis Cocker of Estonia. The music reminds us of Lush holding a slightly shoegazing quality but this all drifts into the background when that lovely entrancing melancholy chorus takes you in. That voice just breaks your heart and makes you feel like you are inside the music and locked away forever. Simple, leftfield, dreamy, epic and lo-fi music from a melodic band that care a lot. Heartfelt Independent bliss from Estonia. We love this it will touch you. 

Llanelli's Indie rock heroes VOID above 

The almighty VOID strum their way onto the Airwaves record next with the Indie rock stomper " Turn Away". This powerful, anthemic and melodic 3 piece band are from the Llanelli in Wales ( Home to Indie cult stars Ian Mansel Thomas and John Tregenna from 90's band Fur-lined). VOID deliver powerful and emotional guitar music that has soul, feeling and loads of raw power. They remind us of early Stereophonics "Local Boy" era crossed with The Alarm. So yeah they do have a Welsh sound and that's great cos some of the best bands in the world come from Wales ( Gorky's, Manics, Catatonia, The Alarm, SF Animals to mention only a few....."what about Tom Jones"...ed ). Void are developing their own sound while taking tips from the best. The band are : Wayne Doyle (singer, guitars), Gary Doyle (drummer ) and Gareth Craft on bass. Featuring next we have the punky leftfield noise pop merchants THE ATTIKA STATE from Slough. They license the powerful and dark rock beast " The Downside of Perfect". The band consist of: James Doyle (lead vocals), Warren Mallia (guitar/vocals), Rodolfo Barella (bass), Chris Jackson (guitars) and Thomas Whittingham (drums). This excellent song goes from powerful dark guitar chords to fast up tempo emo punky mood to melodic dreamy landscape and back again. The guitars are a leftfield and inventive wall of dark noise over the cascading and constantly changing drums and bass. Inventive, different and a bit like 100 Reasons and Saves the Day but in a world of it's own. The band were named after a corrupt New York prison and are not afraid to blur the boundaries between rock, pop and punk .
